Sheniah has had a great couple of weeks in school - in fact, the whole year has been great. She is making good grades, making new friends and just maturing so much this year. I think middle school has been good for her.
Last week she had a play for her social studies class. They have been studying the Roman Empire, so they did a play depicting all they had learned. It was called "The Roman Soap Opera"! It was so cute - and really, the Roman's were
probably the earliest soap opera - everyone was getting married, getting divorced, having children and killing each other! I was also excited because David was able to come so he took care of the little man and I was able to watch the entire play. Anyway, these are pictures from the play.I think Sheniah really enjoyed it alot - I know I did!
Michael was not really excited about the play itself - but he was happy to see his big sister and give her a congratulatory drooling when it was all over!
Then this week Sheniah had a Science Fair at school. She knew her project would be on display but what was a suprise was to find that she and her group had placed 3rd! It was so exciting for her...and I was so proud of her.

Finally, Michael is doing great too. Here are some shots from the last few days. He loves self-feeding, hanging with daddy and rolling around in his walker. I think we have created a coffee addict, though!
Well, wish us luck on the trip! We are prepared for 4 plane-fulls of people to hate us by the time we come home next Friday! Poor Sheniah!
