So we have been quite busy here having fun! We went back to the mall to play which was quite fun...
"Hmm...what should I play with??"
"Hey Daddy!"
Playing with the balls...yes, that is David inside the "castle" throwing a ball at Michael!
Getting help down...
Trying to run on the blowup stuff - not so easy, especially when you can barely walk!
David took Michael down a big slide. At first Michael seemed worried, but I couldn't capture any pictures of that. But...at the bottom of the slide you can see Michael had overcome all apprehension and was all smiles!
Here is a closer look at that big ole happy grin! Unfortunately he was on the move and I was cracking up, so the picture is a bit blurry!
More playing...
As exciting and entertaining as this place must be when you are one, apparently according to my son there is nothing quite as wonderful as a new cleaning item. Yup...here we are surrounded by blow up jumpy things, lot's of balls and blocks and such to play with, and what does Michael do??? He finds the vacuum and obsesses over it! He is his father's son!
After we peeled him away from the vacuum we came home and David put together a little train set that was a gift from our dear friends, the Johnsen's. Michael really enjoyed it...so did David!
Then it was time to wind down. But first...
"Hey kitty..."
"can you pleeeeaaasssee show me how to open this gate???"
He does look pretty desperate in this picture! Poor little man!!
A couple of days later as Michael was helping to swiffer the floor after dinner he decided that his Grandma is right. The best way to clean the house is just to move the furniture as you go along. So...here he is relocating his highchair to the kitchen!
And all this cleaning can really work up quite a thirst...too bad he couldn't figure out which drink he wanted more...
"Juice, or milk?? Milk, or juice?? Ugh...I'm so conflicted!"
And then another couple of days later and it was time to play with the best big sister...
and cheer on the Panthers.
And although he really doesn't appreciate any type of restraint anymore, he did figure out a way to still enjoy his beloved exersaucer.
First you make sure momma has taken out the middle part to wash for the baby brother.
Then, you climb under it...
then you slowly rise...you gotta' watch your head (especially when it's a bit large!)
and wha-la! The assurance of freedom, yet the comfort of old toys!
That same day Michael figured out the next part of Patty-Cake. Remember a couple of posts ago he had started clapping. That has been very enjoyable and it is a near certain way to keep him from fussing, just singing patty-cake and letting him clap. Well, he figured out "Roll It and Roll It" - not only the arm movements (captured as best I could below) but he also says "Rrrrooowww" when he is doing it...Too Cute!
Finally, another shot of him walking around in footie pajamas...

So here it is, another month has gone by which means I am one month closer to having another baby! I guess that also means it is time to share another comparison belly shot. This will be the last comparison, as my water broke with Michael the day before we would have taken my 8th month picture with him. So, here goes...
Michael at 7 months gestation...
Baby "B" at 7 months gestation...
What a beast!!! Well, humiliation aside, I can't believe how huge I was at this point with Michael! I'm glad I am not quite that huge this time!
