For this posting we will have a LOT of pictures, very little comments, and no videos! After the holidays and being so busy the last few weeks I have a million pictures and not much time to comment. The videos...well, they are stuck on my new super cool iPod (thanks, momma) and I haven't figured out how to get them off, yet! One thing at a time...
It was a great holiday season...but the best part was having mom here for a visit! She arrived on Dec. 11...
The boys had a few minutes getting to know Grandma again....(she's taking these pictures)

Then Sheniah came home from school...mom hid in her room and surprised her! It was great!!!

On December 12 we had a family birthday party to celebrate mom's (Dec. 11), Harrison's (Dec. 12), mine (Dec. 15) and Sheniah's (Dec. 21). It was a lot of fun. For Harrison's one-year stats (I can't believe he's one!):
Height: 37 1/4" (85th percentile)
(this is where you can say the dr. is not always right. I was arguing with David about this, saying "That's what the dr said he is" and David finally made me realize he is not more than 3' tall...I will have to redo this height check!)
Weight: 20# 3oz (10th percentile)
Head: 49cm (95th percentile)
Riley and Cathy came, and the boys really enjoyed eachother!

Jackie made both the birthday "kids" beautiful cakes (and delicious, too)! Sheniah's was chocolate cake with orange frosting and 14 purple polka-dots and Harrison's was a great animal/barnyard scene!

Harrison got a teeter-totter from Yaya, and the boys really love it!

This picture is a visual aide to "Why parents shouldn't trust grandparents to properly dress our children"!!! Poor Michael walked around with his little butt-cheek exposed for quite a while until we noticed, and then we were too busy laughing and taking pictures to fix it! Oh, mom...you may never live this one down!!!
On December 18 we celebrated Christmas with mom (she returned to Colorado on the 22 to be with my brother - the jerk!!! hehe just kidding, bro)!

The first set of pictures are from mom's camera, so they are a bit out of order with mine, but everything still happened on the same dates listed above!
Michael helped us clean up for the birthday party by lining up daddy's shoes...unfortunately, he lined them up in the living room instead of the closet!

What a cutie!!!
Ahhh...future best buds!!

Wesley enjoyed Harrison's new swing, even though it didn't work quite right sitting on the floor!
The birthday boy, checking out his guests!
The birthday girl got lot's of great gifts...especially jewelry!

Riley says "Where's my cake?!?!"

Looks like Riley realizes Michael is not the birthday boy, so therefore he deserves no respect!

Beautiful cousins!
Harrison just looks like "duh" all the time!

Grandma was the hero, freeing the presents from the dreaded packaging so the kids could play with them!
Sheniah with her new pocketbook...thank's Yaya!
And a beautiful new necklace...thanks Gommy and Grandpa!

After presents, everyone (especially the kids) enjoyed spaghetti and meatballs! The perfect meal for a one-year-old, a 14 year-old with braces and two other birthday-ers who don't care what they eat as long as there is lots of it!

Then came the delicious cakes!

The kids really liked licking off the animals!

Go Broncos!

*Don't worry Panther's fans...we decked out mom, my brother and little B with Panther's gear!
"Hello?!?!"

Such a suitable shirt for the little guy! Harrison says "Thanks, Grandma!!!"

On Sheniah's birthday she had a choir concert, so after the concert mom took her and her friend, Madi, to Taco Bell while David and I came home, put the boys to bed and prepared a very small surprise party for her...The concert was great, unfortunately I only took video of that, so I will have to work on getting that on the blog somehow...

She was surprised!
It was lots of fun!
Then, Christmas Eve we celebrated by opening our family presents. Harrison was starting to get the hang of this whole "present" thing by then!

Christmas morning the boys got a slide from Santa...they were so excited and they both just ran for it and went for a slide like they were experts! Sheniah got a pair of shoes she'd been wanting...very exciting for her!

Later Christmas day it was time to go to Yaya's...how handsome is my little man?!?!
Harrison looked very handsome, too!

Sheniah and Maria passed out the gifts...
Michael pitched in some, too!
The kids played dress up...

It was great to see the Johnsen's...especially Joey and Talmadge who live way too far away!

The boys got great chairs from Yaya!
And adorable and handy backpacks from Grandma...I know they are kind of hard to see, but Michael has a tiger with fuzzy ears and Harrison has a penguin who's nose squeaks! Too cute!

Sheniah got some great clothes she couldn't wait to wear and show off...she is getting so beautiful!

"Hello?!?!"
Mom is saying something well-meaning and mothering like "you know, you should (could) have..."
Sheniah is saying "I don' hear a word you're saying, my eyes have glazed over and all I am thinking about now is if my hair looks better with this headband or without..."
