Two posts in one day...I am really on a roll! I know my David is dying to see the progress made today after he went to work, so I wanted to get these posted for him...an early b-day present!
Harrison spent most of the day supervising...

It doesn't look like a lot is done, but they got all the flashing up around the bottom of the house to prevent the water splashes that can damage the wood so badly (of course...we are expecting rain). Also, they got a lot of the detailed stuff done, like around the 5 billion boxes and wires hanging off the back of my house (why are these all necessary???!!!)
Edges trimmed and flashing done.
I like this picture...the window on the left is the old painted trim. The one on the right is covered (but not caulked yet)...pretty nice improvement!

That's it. Pretty exciting. I am sad to lose some of the character of the house but it will be a relief to not have to worry every time it rains that the windows (or walls) are leaking!Will post more soon!
